My name is Julie Binmore, and I’m a parenting coach who focuses on bringing intention, empathy, and joy to parenting!
Parenting is hard work but it can be fun and gratifying too! Many parents struggle with the practical and philosophical aspects of raising kids. Maybe you feel like you’re just trying to get through every routine or that you are doing things for your kids that they could do for themselves.
When daily routines are going well, life feels so much more manageable and happy. With my help, your child(ren) can experience greater independence and self-confidence and you can feel better about your load! Together, we’ll look at parenting constructively and I’ll offer practical suggestions. We’ll explore how you can purposely bring your core values to raising your family so that everything can come into alignment. And we’ll have some laughs together too!

Intention
Making sure that what you say and do as a parent aligns with the things you care most about.
Empathy
Nurturing kindness and understanding in your family even in the busyness of daily life.
Joy
Rediscovering the joy of time together. Less fighting and more joyful exploration of life!
Value-Led Families are Happy Families
The happiest families are values-led, rather than rules-obsessed. It is gratifying to think that with an intentional approach we can pass on our cherished values to our kids. That said, it’s so easy for us to get stuck in habits that involve conflict, nagging and lectures.
To be successful in this complex, ever-changing world, kids need to be increasingly…
Independent
Empathic & Service-Oriented
Grateful
Capable & Persistent
Flexible
Creative
Collaborative
As a parent, you can help your kids with intentional choices, words, and actions. Let’s talk about how I can help you to share your values during daily routines and the challenges your child experiences as they learn and grow. We’ll create a thoughtful plan that will bring your words and actions into alignment and will set you and your child up for success.

Supporting Early Years Play and Learning at Home
Throughout this series, I’ll provide reassurance that our job as parents is just what it has always been: to give our children a sense of security and love. Of course, there are things that we can do to make this period memorable, meaningful, and engaging. With structure provided by us and the curiosity and enthusiasm provided by our early years learners, we can all find success in learning at home.
